1. Sectamini Caritatem
Ubi cáritas et ámor, Déus íbi est.
Ergo, sectámini caritátem,
quóniam ubi cáritas et ámor, Déus íbi est.

2. Diligamus Invicem
Caríssimi, diligámus ínvicem,
quóniam cáritas ex Déo est.

Déum némo vídit úmquam.
si diligámus ínvicem,
Déus in nóbis mánet,
et cáritas éius in nóbis consummáta est.

Qui non díligit, non cognóvit Déum,
quóniam Déus cáritas est.

Caríssimi, diligámus ínvicem,
quóniam cáritas ex Déo est.

3. Nihil Sum

4. Deus Caritas Est
Ubi cáritas et ámor, Déus íbi est.
Congregávit nos in únum ámor Déi.
Exultémus, et in ípso iucundémur;
Déo Grátias,
et ex córde diligámus nos sincéro.

Cáritas pátiens est, benígna est.
Cáritas non aemulátur, non ágit supérbe,
non inflátur, non est ambitiósa,
non quáerit quáe súa sunt, non irritátur,
non cógitat málum, non gáudet súper iniquitátem,
congáudet áutem veritáti.
Cáritas ómnia súffert, ómnia crédit,
ómnia spérat, ómnia sústinet.
Cáritas númquam éxcidit, quóniam Déus cáritas est.

Ubi cáritas et ámor, Déus íbi est.
Sectámini caritátem.
Dóminus Vobíscum, et Déus cáritas est.

Allelúia.
Ubi cáritas et ámor, Déus íbi est.
Caríssimi, diligámus ínvicem.
Allelúia.
Congregávit nos in únum ámor Déi.
Exultémus, et in ípso iucundémur;
Déo Grátias,
et ex córde diligámus nos sincéro.

Allelúia.
Amen.

1. Sectamini Caritatem
Where there are dearness and love, there, there is God.
Therefore, keep following dearness,
since where there are dearness and love, there, there is God.

2. Diligamus Invicem
Dearest ones, let us cherish reciprocally,
since dearness is out of God.

No one ever has seen God.
If we cherish reciprocally,
God stays in us,
and His dearness has been consummated in us.

The person who does not cherish has not acknowledged God,
since God is dearness.

Dearest ones, let us cherish reciprocally,
since dearness is out of God.

3. Nihil Sum
If I should speak by means of the tongues of humans and of angels,
However I should not have dearness,
I have made myself just as if [I were] sounding bronze,
or a ringing cymbal.

And if I have had prophecy,
and I have come to know all mysteries
and all knowledge;
and if I have had all faith,
so that I may bear mountains,
however I have not had dearness,
I am nothing.

And if I have converted all my facilities into foods,
and if I have given over my body, so that I may be glorified,
however I have not had dearness,
it benefits me nothing.

Therefore, keep following dearness,
since if however I have not had dearness,
I am nothing.

4. Deus Caritas Est
Where there are dearness and love, there, there is God.
The love of God has congregated us into one.
Let us leap for joy, and let us be congenial in [God] Himself;
[Let us give] thanks to God,
and let us cherish ourselves out of a sincere heart.

Dearness is patient, is benign.
Dearness does not show rivalry, does not act overbearingly,
is not overblown, is not ambitious,
does not search for its own things, is not irritable,
does not think the bad, does not rejoice over iniquity,
however it rejoices with the truth.
Dearness bears up under all things, believes all things,
hopes all things, holds up under all things.
Dearness never falls away, since God is dearness.

Where there are dearness and love, there, there is God.
Keep following dearness.
God is with you, and God is Dearness.

Alleluia.
Where there are dearness and love, there, there is God.
Dearest ones, let us cherish reciprocally,
Alleluia.
The love of God has congregated us into one.
Let us leap for joy, and let us be congenial in [God] Himself;
[Let us give] thanks to God,
and let us cherish ourselves out of a sincere heart.

Alleluia.
Amen.
